As a voluntary aided Church of England School we participate in a daily act of collective worship . Our daily worship is led by staff, whole classes, children and visitors such as the Family Trust.
We participate in Christian festivals for Harvest, Christmas and Easter and Rev. Terranova leads worship within school on a weekly basis. Our children are encouraged to support local and national charitable events.
Supporting your child’s learning at home
Children learn a great deal at school, parents can add to that learning by supporting them at home with reading together, writing and math. We provide regular guidance for parents throughout the year that will be useful when helping children at home.
Homework is sent home each week which includes an English and a math exercise. It is also expected that your child reads either independently or with an adult for 20 minutes each night and that is recorded in their reading record.
We have a wide range of clubs and enrichment activities that run before, during and after school. These are run by our teachers, external companies and the church.
We will keep you up-to-date with regular newsletters home.
We will provide a Calendar of Events to help you to plan your diary .
We update our website regularly.
Regular Parent Mails and texts will go out to ensure you have the latest information.
Appointments can also be arranged through the school office at anytime.
In order for us to keep you updated via our Parent Mail system we need to store your most up-to-date mobile phone number and email address. If either of these change, please do let the School Office know immediately.
If you would like paper copies of anything on our school website please ask the office (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will provide these for you, free of charge.
