On Friday 18th May we had a day of celebrations in school to commemorate the Royal Wedding.
The day began with us designing and decorating our souvenir mini porcelain mugs – they looked amazing!
At lunchtime the whole school sat together for a street party style lunch. There were flags being waved, bunting was hung and some people were even wearing Harry & Meghan masks 🙂
6KS continued the fun with a whole afternoon of games on the field as our reward for filling up our 100 square with good behaviour.
It was a really fantastic day!
On Thursday 17th May, Rev. Terranova came to 4AB to answer the children’s questions about Pentecost and how people in our community celebrate it and about the church service Rev. Terranova provides. All of the children’s questions were answered and they now have a much stronger understanding about Pentecost and how it is celebrated. We look forward to welcoming Rev. Terranova back in to 4AB in the future.
The children had a lovely time celebrating the Royal Wedding today. The children each made a piece of bunting that was hung from our classroom windows and they each had a mug to decorate in a royal wedding theme. They then enjoyed eating their lunch outside together as a school!
Everyone is really enjoying the street party for the Royal Wedding!
The SATs are over!
We are so proud of all the hard work the children put into their SATs this week and we would like to say a big WELL DONE to everyone 🙂
They did their best, they smiled all week and they approached the assessments with positivity – it’s been a fantastic week.
Now we look forward to enjoying the rest of the year beginning with our Royal Wedding celebrations tomorrow!
3LN have managed to fill their 100 square for the second time! Watch this space for the date of the children’s chosen reward!
